Dear _________,

Answer –

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to introduce myself as your new neighbour and tell you that I am considering hosting a housewarming party. Although I will be considerate and try to minimise any noise disturbance, I would like to apologise in advance if the noise disturbs you.

I, Rey Mysterio, am your new next-door neighbour, and I just moved in yesterday with my family to house number 20. I am an electrical engineer and have been posted here recently, but we previously lived in New York City. We are here in California for the first time, so we were thinking of holding a party.

I plan to do it this Saturday because it is a weekend, and this party will include my family members and close friends. Moreover, I’m planning an outdoor party in my front yard, and I have hired the town’s best band to perform that day. There will also be games for children, such as musical chairs and pinata, and barbeque food to enjoy at the party.

I would be glad if you and your family graced the occasion with your presence. It would be a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, and I believe having a good relationship with your neighbours can improve your quality of life. Moreover, since our children are roughly the same age, they can get to know each other and may become good friends.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Rey Mysterio
