Canada Visitor Visa Checklist – A Guide

Many people search for the Canada Visitor Visa Checklist because they want to be informed about the visa process and not to be cheated by their visa consultant. This visitor visa checklist will educate you about the proper requirements for file lodgement and securing the visa.

Difference Between a Visitor Visa and a Tourist Visa

Remember there’s just a slight difference between the Canada Visitor Visa and Canada Tourist Visa. Both have the same requirements excluding one difference, which is an invitation. If you know someone who is in Canada and has invited you, then you will go for a Canada Visitor Visa, else you will have to make a Hotel Booking, prepare the travel itinerary (plan to stay in Canada) and lodge the file.

Time Duration of Both Visas –

Both offer multiple entry visas for up to 10 years or until the passport expires. In both visa types, you can stay up to 6 months during your visit and have to leave the country after it and re-enter even the following day, but that is not advisable at all. Moreover, if you have some work, like you are on a visit to see your suck family member or see your newborn family member, you can request a visitor visa extension from the IRCC for up to 3 months.
