IDP IELTS India has announced a revision in the exam fee. The IELTS exam fee has been revised to INR 19,000m while IELTS UKVI to Rs. 19,250, effective April 1, 2026.

Note: The IELTS certificate’s validity has not changed and will be valid for 2 years. Check for IDP Test Dates on their official website.

New Update – IELTS India has announced that the IELTS on Paper results will be delivered to the students on the 7th day of the exam. For example, if you took the exam on Saturday, 1st April 2026, then on the exact 7th day i.e. 8th April, 2026, the result would be delivered via the IDP candidate login account and text message.

As for the computer-delivered IELTS test results in India, they now come within 24 to 48 hours. The fast processing of the results is a gift for students, and they can now focus on their study visa preparation or PR Visa filing much sooner.

Nonetheless, ‘IELTS Speaking tests’ are generally conducted before the LRW, aka WLR exam. This is because it saves time in doing biometrics for the candidates, and the test can start on time. Thus, candidates worried about their speaking exam should make the IELTS exam booking after thorough preparation. Don’t waste your hard-earned money.
