Dear Luis,

Answer –

Dear Luis,

I am writing to express my excitement about celebrating famous culinary dishes from around the world at an event hosted by my club, the International Students’ Club.

If possible, I would also like to participate in this competition and represent my country by making one of the most popular dishes in India, “Gulab Jamun.” I am fond of cooking and have been making it for many years, and everyone has praised me, so I believe I can do justice to it in the competition.

To get into the details of the dish, Gulab Jamun is a milk-based, decadent dessert that is round in shape. Powdered milk, all-purpose flour, rose water, and saffron are typically mixed to form a dough, which is then divided into bite-size balls. The balls are deep-fried until golden brown before being soaked in sugar syrup for some time. They are best served when hot.

I believe including it in the festival would be a fantastic addition because it is a unique dessert that literally melts in your mouth. Because of its sophisticated texture and flavour, it will appeal to a wide variety of palates. Moreover, it will aptly represent India’s rich culinary heritage and the tapestry of flavours in Indian cuisine.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Sam Smith
