Answer –
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter concerning the three months training as an electrical engineer that I will undergo at your company in the coming days.
Firstly let me take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the chance to get firsthand job experience in your esteemed organization. Working here will not only give me the chance to learn from the industry’s finest but also open doors for a bright future. Honestly, I will forever be indebted to you.
By working here, I am hoping to get the basic as well as in-depth knowledge of various electrical equipment like transformers, induction motors and generators. Since I mostly have the theoretical knowledge of my profession, I am looking forward to seeing and understanding how these devices work in the real world, so that I can have the requisite practical experience to work in this field.
I would appreciate some information about my training. First of all, I would like to know about my reporting time, as I do not want to be late on the very first day and leave a bad impression. Also, could you please tell me whether I have to bring my lunch or will it be available at the company’s canteen? Lastly, I would like to know if there is any dress code that I have to adhere to.
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours faithfully,
Steve Austin
