Answer –
The pie chart displays the destinations of Anthropology graduates from one university at the end of their undergraduate degree course, while the table provides information about their income after five years of work.
Overall, it can be seen that most graduates got a full-time job after finishing their course, while a minority pursued a postgraduate degree course along with part-time work. It is also noticeable that after five years of working, more graduates who worked in the public sector and as freelance consultants had the highest salaries.
52% of graduates went into full-time work, just over three times the figure for part-time workers and around quadruple the proportion of unemployed graduates. Full-time postgraduate study and those whose destinations were unknown each comprised 8%, which was three percentage points higher than the share of those doing part-time work besides studying for a master’s.
Most Anthropology graduates working as government employees earned more than $100,000 after working for five years, with half of their total, while freelance consultants who got paid either $75,000–99,999 or $100,000+ accounted for 40% each. The number of employees working in private companies who made $50,000–74,999 was the highest, with just over a third. In contrast, the lowest percentages of workers in these three categories took home $25,000–49,999, ranging between 5% and a tenth.
