You should spend 20 minutes on this task.
You recently went to a concert and thought one of the singers was very good. You want to tell him how you feel.
Write a letter to the singer. In your letter:
- say how you feel about his performance
- give details of your musical activities
- explain how you would like him to help you with your musical activities
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr. Jackson,
I am writing to thank you for giving us the time of our lives with your superb singing performance at Madison Square Garden arena two days ago.
I am at a loss for words to describe your truly melodious and soothing voice. I was awestruck by your songs, singing and crowd-managing ability, but when you started performing on the “Earth” song, I was enchanted not only by your vocals and the lyrics but also by the visual representation of the song, which gave it a whole new meaning altogether.
I am also a music enthusiast, and I know how to play the guitar and have been practising my vocals for the last 5 years. In fact, I had sung in front of a small audience once when I went to a local club to attend a karaoke night, and the people gave me a round of applause.
I would be grateful if you took me under your wing and gave me the break I am looking for. I would love to perform with you at one of your concerts, as it would give me the platform to kick start my career, increase my confidence, and give me a chance to evaluate myself on the biggest stage with you.
