Our Story

Voxcel is the dream child of two brothers, Piyush Goyal and Varun Goyal, who started the company in 2017 to offer the most affordable IELTS coaching in Punjab, India. The Goyal brothers started teaching English Grammar to students for pro bono work in 2013.

Why name “Voxcel”?

The story behind the Voxcel name is also quite interesting. When we were looking for a name for our company, we did thorough research on the existing brands. Many looked similar and confusing. Some had prefixes or suffixes different, the rest all similar. Those are forgettable names. We wanted a name that would roll on the tongue nicely and remain etched in the psyche of the listener/reader permanently. 

Thus, we searched names, but when we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we created a portmanteau. Yes, Voxcel is a portmanteau of ‘Vox’ and ‘Excel’, which means ‘Sounds Good’. 

Vox is a very popular Latin word. Vox populi = Voice of the People is a slogan among Millennials and GenZ etc., since they are fearless of raising their voices for humanity. 

Since its inception, Voxcel has never looked back and has helped countless students clear the IELTS Exam. Nonetheless, we have done thousands of IELTS Exam Registrations and have consulted students to pick the right course, institution and country. We are connecting and helping students to achieve their dreams through our excellent English language coaching. During the process, we were encouraged to enter the Travel and Immigration World. Voxcel is now actively assisting people with their travel and Immigration needs.

The core focus of Voxcel Education is to impart world-class education (mainly English-related courses such as IELTS) to the students. Our education process is very streamlined, and we prioritise gaining experiential knowledge for the brighter future of our students. When the founders Varun Goyal and Piysuh Goyal sensed that quality IELTS education was the need of the hour, they started Voxcel to help students, and with year, the growth happened, and students from across Punjab came to them for IELTS coaching.

In 2025, we decided to take the coaching online after gaining immense love and popularity in Ludhiana, Punjab. We had many requests from students’ friends, cousins to open branches in their cities, but it was not viable to oversee the branches without compromising the quality of coaching. 

Thus, we designed the most affordable IELTS course online. It has around 70+ videos in detail as we teach in our academy. You will not feel the difference between our offline and online coaching in the course. 

Our Non-Profit Business Offering – 

Nonetheless, over the years, we constantly counselled students who were tired of giving the IELTS exam because they couldn’t find a place that would discuss IELTS readings with them in detail. Although it’s impossible to discuss them every day in detail, we have made them available on our YouTube channel for free.

It means you can now understand IELTS Reading Modules from Cambridge and other authentic resources for free. Not only do we offer reading, but we also offer Band 9 Sample Videos of Writing and Speaking on YouTube and Textual content on our website without asking a penny for the resources. 

The same goes for the study visa services. When we saw how customers are being looted in the name of Visa, we decided to educate the students and handle this for them. Our process is transparent and gives student a freedom to be the frontrunner of it while we handle everything on his/her behalf.
